Weaving fun until the beginning of July
Making your own track in the crunching snow early in the morning on skis or snowboard will literally make your heart beat faster. From October to the beginning of July, the Hintertux Glacier offers fun and the best piste conditions.
Trees, lush meadows, mountains, glaciers, sun and clouds outside. Modern feel-good atmosphere and fantastic views of the surrounding peaks inside. In addition, a well-coordinated team that anticipates your every wish. We can hardly wait to welcome you and share the secrets of the Tux Valley with you.
Hiking makes you happy!
In the Zillertal Alps Nature Park you will discover marmots, golden eagles and other endangered species. And the flora also has a lot to offer. Whether mountain meadows densely covered with pink alpine roses in spring or vibrant yellow-orange larch forests in autumn, as a guest of the Hotel Eden you can take part in over 200 guided hikes free of charge between June and September. It doesn´t matter whether you prefer easy or more challenging hikes, there is something for everyone. With every meter of altitude you step away from your everyday life. We will show you the most beautiful viewing spots in the region.
If you want to take a more ambitious approach, climb a peak in the Tux Mountains, which will be rewarded with a wonderful view. Together with your hosts, you will find out which peak suits your needs and your mountaineering skills, because no one knows the Tux mountains as well as they do.

Fantastically relaxing. Our rooms and suites
Yes. And no. Strictly speaking, Tuxertal is a side valley of Zillertal. Tuxertal branches off Zillertal in the town of Mayrhofen. However: we belong together.
Our hotel is at 1,360 metres a.s.l. This means that at Easter or in October it can snow a bit at night. Thanks to our altitude, in summer we can enjoy the refreshingly cool nights. Please remember to pack enough sunscreen with a sufficient protection factor. The sun is especially strong in the mountains.
Of course. Hotel Eden is wonderfully connected with the public transport system. Read more about how to get here. Also after you arrive, you can get around without your own car. The bus stop is located directly at our front door.
We can lend you the following at the hotel: hiking rucksack, hiking sticks, snowshoes, spikes for winter hiking boots. Nearby there is also a speciality store that can give you good advise.
Of course! When we go on group hikes, we make sure that everyone can keep up.
