More than 40 years ago, Alexander and Gerlinde Erler laid the foundation for Hotel Eden. Today, we are a true family-run hotel for sporty guests, connoisseurs, and everyone who loves nature.

Look forward to bright, cozy rooms made of high-quality natural materials: from the double room Bergreich (26 m²) to the family suite Freiraum with two separate bedrooms. Bathroom and toilet are separated.
Indulgent half-board included:
Breakfast buffet, afternoon snack with coffee and cake, and in the evening a 4-course choice menu with salad buffet and a selection of regional cheeses. Plus fresh apples available at all times. Chef Patrick Erler cooks modern Alpine cuisine with ingredients from the region.
“Bewusst Tirol” certified regional cuisine:
Hay-milk cheese from the dairy, bread from the village bakery in Tux, bacon from Mayrhofen, herbs from the hotel’s own Eden garden. Delicious!
Wellness with natural bathing pond:
Four saunas (Tyrolean sweat room, aroma steam bath, bio sauna, infrared cabin), hot whirlpool at 36°C, panoramic relaxation room with mountain views. Plus a natural swimming pond with drinking-water quality (June to October) and 1,000 m² of sunny lawn for sunbathing. Bathrobes and sauna towels are included.
Right in the middle of the ski paradise:
Very close to the Hintertux Glacier (3 km) and Ski Zillertal 3000 (2 km). The free Tux sports bus stops directly at the hotel and runs every 10 minutes. The cross-country ski trail passes right behind the house. Plus 68 km of groomed winter hiking trails and guided snowshoe hikes with us, the Erlers.

Sustainability is not marketing talk:
The waste heat from our cooling systems heats the wellness area and whirlpool. The natural bathing pond cleans itself without chemicals, using only aquatic plants. We source locally, avoid single-use plastic, heat the saunas in a staggered way to avoid power peaks, and our used cooking oil is converted into biodiesel.

We are personally at the reception, behind the stove, at the bar, and with you on the summit. We know every little shortcut, every favorite spot, and where to find the best Kaspressknödel in the world. For us, your mountain holiday is not a business, but our passion—for over 40 years.
Sustainability at Hotel Eden
Nature is our home. That’s why we do everything we can to protect it. At Hotel Eden, no energy is wasted: the heat generated by our refrigeration systems is directly fed into the wellness area and the whirlpool. New windows, insulated ceilings, and modern shutters keep the warmth where it belongs. Our saunas are started in staggered intervals to ensure a balanced power consumption. Throughout the house, we use LED lighting.
Clean can also be gentle: we maintain our rooms using a micro dry steam cleaner, and our laundry service uses environmentally friendly detergents. You decide whether your room is cleaned daily.
In the Eden kitchen, goodness comes from nearby: Patrick sources dairy products and meat from Mayrhofen, bread from the village bakery, and herbs directly from our own garden. For this, we are “Bewusst Tirol” certified. We have eliminated plastic straws and single-use portion packaging, our used cooking oil is converted into biodiesel, and we water our garden with collected rainwater.
