Hiking makes you happy!
In the Zillertal Alps Nature Park you will discover marmots, golden eagles and other endangered species. And the flora also has a lot to offer. Whether mountain meadows densely covered with pink alpine roses in spring or vibrant yellow-orange larch forests in autumn, as a guest of the Hotel Eden you can take part in over 200 guided hikes free of charge between June and September. It doesn´t matter whether you prefer easy or more challenging hikes, there is something for everyone. With every meter of altitude you step away from your everyday life. We will show you the most beautiful viewing spots in the region.
If you want to take a more ambitious approach, climb a peak in the Tux Mountains, which will be rewarded with a wonderful view. Together with your hosts, you will find out which peak suits your needs and your mountaineering skills, because no one knows the Tux mountains as well as they do.
Weaving fun until the beginning of July
Making your own track in the crunching snow early in the morning on skis or snowboard will literally make your heart beat faster. From October to the beginning of July, the Hintertux Glacier offers fun and the best piste conditions.

Sustainability is important to us
- We separate waste very carefully. Recyclable waste is delivered to the local waste management center.
- To minimise heat loss, the ceiling in the restaurant was recently re-sealed.
- In the restaurant and in the office, shutters have been installed on the windows to prevent heat from being
lost to the outside. - All windows in the restaurant and in the rooms have been re-sealed.
- A modern heat recovery system has been installed. The waste heat from the cold stores heats the wellness
area and the whirlpool, among other things. - In order to avoid current peaks, a modern system for energy optimization has been established.
- The outdoor lighting doesn't come on until dusk. It's automatically controlled according to the lumens
of the environment. - An e-charging station is located directly on the hotel car park.
- Our group transfer with the hotel bus takes our guests to the starting points of guided hikes.
The private car can stay on the parking lot. - Sustainable gifts as a thank you on departure, such as a wooden board for a snack, a buff for athletes,
regional honey, salad cutlery made of wood and much more. - The entire hotel is illuminated by LEDs.
