The Zillertal Valley is a great destination for family holidays in summer. Between the months of May and October this beautiful region offers many activities and attractions for visitors of all ages.

As well as "classics" such as hiking and biking there are plenty of other highlights waiting to be discovered in the Zillertal Alps.

Via Ferrata Climbing

Scale the heights in the Zillertal Valley

Via ferrata are climbing routes in the mountains with a steel rope anchored to the rockface and a number of metal handholds and footholds. They combine the thrill of rock climbing with a high level of safety and are therefore very popular with families. In the Zillertal Valley we have many via ferrata catering for climbers of all abilities. They are rated from A (easy) to E (very difficult).

As well as the adrenaline kick of being high up in the mountains, these climbing routes are a great way to enjoy some spectacular views and take a few memorable photos to show off to friends and family back home.
